converttostitch.com converts artwork into stitch files for embroidery machines. Purchases are sold by Lemon Squeezy acting as Merchant of Record. Questions go to hello@converttostitch.com, and we answer them ourselves.
A key that lets you download a fixed number of machine files. Generating a design and viewing its stitch preview is free and unlimited; the key is spent only when you download an actual machine file. Downloading the same design again does not spend another file.
The preview shows the stitches the file contains, so you can judge the result before you spend a download. Beyond that, embroidery depends on things outside our control: your machine, hooping, stabiliser, thread and fabric. We do not promise that a given design will sew well on your particular setup.
The tool tells you the smallest size at which a design's fine detail survives. Below that size it still produces a valid file, but thin shapes are thickened to the minimum a needle can hold. That is physics, not a defect.
You must have the right to use the artwork you upload. Digitizing someone else's logo or a copyrighted character does not give you the right to embroider and sell it. That is your responsibility, not ours.
You keep all rights to your artwork and to the stitch files produced from it. We claim nothing.
Each design takes a CPU core for up to a minute. Automated or bulk submission that degrades the service for others may be rate-limited or blocked.
This is a small service run by one person. It may be offline for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Generated files are kept for a limited time (see Privacy) — download them promptly.
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller for the transaction and handles billing and applicable sales tax or VAT. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
