Convert JPG to DST embroidery files
DST is the Tajima format and the closest thing embroidery has to a universal standard: almost every commercial machine reads it, and most digitizers send it by default.
DST runs on Tajima, Barudan, ZSK and most commercial machines. DST stores stitches only. The order of colour changes survives, the actual colours do not — use the colour table under the preview as your thread guide.
JPG is what most photos and scans are. Heavy compression leaves faint halos around edges; the engine smooths them before tracing, but a clean source always stitches better than a re-saved one.
