EXP is the Melco format, also read by Bernina machines. It stores stitches in a plain, compact form.

EXP runs on Melco and Bernina. EXP stores stitches only. The order of colour changes survives, the actual colours do not — use the colour table under the preview as your thread guide.

JPG is what most photos and scans are. Heavy compression leaves faint halos around edges; the engine smooths them before tracing, but a clean source always stitches better than a re-saved one.

What it does
